About Me
My Purpose is to help others achieve their goals, prevent and recover from injuries and live a healthier lifestyle, with a body that moves more fluidly and to the right level for the individual. We all have to take in to account we are different! Our lifestyles may have influenced our ability in the way we move, however we are all born anatomically the same, so there is no reason you cannot improve and change this. I feel so much joy watching the transformation take place with my students and their improved confidence! Not only on the mat but in daily life too! Wherever you are on your yoga Journey I am here to support you.
I am also the proud founder of ‘KS Therapy’ a clinic of physical treatments, rehabilitation, acupuncture and soft tissue release. I have been studying the body for over 15 years, so now have a good understanding of it, so you get the experience of all the hands on knowledge too! However learning the body and mind is very complex and is always evolving, so I like to continue learning and further develop my knowledge as a teacher and practitioner on a regular basis. I have self-practiced, trained and attended workshops all around the world! Studying with some of the most inspirational movement practitioners. Meeting and working with a variety of bodies, from more elite athlete professionals, to clients who live a more sedentary lifestyle. (well…until they met me of course)!
I have always been interested in health and wellbeing, having enjoyed many different sports as a child. However the only one I have truly stuck to and my passion just keeps on growing for, is of course practicing Yoga and Pilates! I seriously began daily practice in my mid 20’s and it really has transformed my life. Not only a healthier more subtle, flexible body, but also changed my way of thinking and the way I live my life, in such a positive way, you simply have to see for yourselves the benefits of what yoga has to offer, both mentally and physically!!! The meditation side helps you to learn how to quieten the mind, it can bring us from panic to a little peace, and when at peace life just becomes a little clearer and easier to manage. I also found my love for Pilates alongside Yoga and realised how well they compliment each other, with Pilates having an emphasis on core strength and alignment. I began focusing and learning different types to keep my students interested too. From my own experiences working in clinics from a physiotherapy and rehabilitation scenario I have seen the incredible benefits it has on the body.
